The Great Staff
From the Discipline Series
The
Great Staff is the first piece in the Discipline series (all-natural
sex toys).
Playfully imagined to be used in sex rites, the work is a 6.5' (2m) ritualistic,
wood staff, topped with real deer antlers, and adorned with raven feathers,
mink bones, wood beads, a quartz crystal, and one horseshoe crab tail - all
held together using hemp rope. Around the base is an original hand-painted poem,
in Spanish, written in the Iberian area's Southwest Paleohispanic script, which
dates to 500 BCE. Deciphered, the poem reads:
unión
semillias
amor
esperma / oospora
sol / luna
son un alma

love
sperm / egg
sun / moon
are one soul
